Whew! The Tuscon Gem Show was epic! From the moment I set foot among the giant geodes, I was transported into a world of breathtaking beauty. These phenomenal specimens from all corners of the globe had me completely mesmerized. As you all know, I have a love affair with color gems, but let me tell you, words cannot describe just how extraordinary it is to see and feel these massive beauties! Slowly, I made my way through the exhibit, my eyes wide with excitement.
I couldn't help but feel like a little kid in a candy store as I approached the cutters and fine gems. The sight of sparkling jewels and vibrant gemstones made my heart skip a beat! The inspiration was simply overwhelming! Among the treasures I laid my eyes upon, I selected a stunning spessartite garnet, amazing Australian opals from Queensland, beautiful bi-color tourmaline, Ceylon sapphire, rutilated quartz, and morganite. So many jaw-dropping beauties! I can't wait to play with all this color!
As I wind down from this incredible trip, my mind is buzzing with ideas. I've already started sketching and working on not just one, but two new collections! I feel so blessed to do what I love. Stay tuned for what’s to come!
